Who Can Apply

PLAYpass is open to youth ages 0–17 who live in Boulder County. Families qualify by providing proof of participation in a financial assistance program, which includes, but are not limited to:

  • Free or Reduced Lunch
  • SNAP
  • CCAP
  • WIC
  • Medicaid
  • Boulder Parks & Recreation Financial Aid
  • Boulder Housing Partners Lease

How does My Spark work?

  • Online applications will become available for eligible families around August 1.
  • My Spark Card: Once approved, families receive a restricted virtual card up to $1,000.
  • Program Selection: Families can choose from over 200+ programs and providers. English & Spanish

Who are we?

Chance Sports is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides scholarships to competitive youth athletes. We believe every kid deserves a chance to play competitive sports regardless of the price tag that comes with it. Our team understands the high cost of club sports and is here to help.  Together, we can give our kids a chance.

How Does All Kids Play Work?

All Kids Play provides funding to families and communities who lack the resources to pay for youth sports. Grants are available to qualifying families with kids in grade K-12 and not-for-profit community-based recreational sports organizations in low income areas on a need and first-come, first served basis as funds are available.

Expedite the Process!

  • Contact your local account rep for SNAP, WIC, or your Medicaid provider to request an active enrollment document for your child.

OR

  • Login to your SNAP, Medicaid, or WIC online account and take a screenshot or picture that shows the following details: program, child’s name, and active dates within 12 months.

THEN

  • Begin the Registration process. 
  • At one point in the application process, you will be required to upload the following:
    • UPLOAD: The active enrollment document for Medicaid, SNAP and/or WIC with your child’s name and enrollment dates within the past 12 months.

You are approved, now what?

  • After you are approved, a cash card from Every Kid Sports will be issued to you. This will be used toward your registration.  
  • Please complete our simple local scholarship form! Make sure and say YES you have been approved. 
  • After you submit the form, we will contact you directly to complete your registration within 14 business days. We are excited to serve you and your family!
You are denied, now what?
 
  • We are so sorry that you did not qualify. Please complete our simple local Win/Win Scholarship form below! 
  • After you submit the form, we will contact you directly about secondary scholarship opportunities within 14 business days. We are excited to serve you and your family.
